Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using BASIC (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by BASIC, registered in England and Wales.

2. Service Description

BASIC is a cloud-based CRM and project management platform. We provide workspace-based multi-tenant software accessible via web browser. Each workspace operates independently with its own data, members, and billing.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You must not share your account with others
  • Workspace owners are responsible for managing member access and data within their workspace

4. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you enter into BASIC. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your data solely to provide the Service.

5. Pricing & Billing

BASIC is priced at £2 per active seat per month. Billing is handled through Stripe. Workspace owners are responsible for their subscription and payment. We offer a free trial period; after expiry, an active subscription is required to continue using the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other workspaces or user accounts
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

7. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current billing period. You may export your data before account closure. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, BASIC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
